Many things happening at once!

So, the first big news is that I'm moving house! From four week's time you'll find me slap in the middle of Milton Keynes. Basically it's a compromise between rent and travel costs. Mainly i'm doing it so that I can live with my fiance without spending all our time travelling to meet each other.

Our new flat is, simply, beautiful. It would normally be more than we could afford, but we took advantage of a "try before you buy" scheme without the buying part. We get to stay for up to 3 years in a brand new flat- it has floor to ceiling windows along the outside wall, central heating that *gasp!* works and a video entry system thing which is too cool. It looks out onto the resurant district with an awesome fountain and all sorts. I'm so excited!

The challenge will be fittnig all our combined life debris into it. We're trying to sort out our huge amount of stuff this week and repaint our existing flat so that it can be let quickly.

Phew.

News number two! I'm abandoning the net for a week and going to Lundy island with my uni course. The idea is to get us to plan our dissertations with minimal distractions of say, moving house, making dolls or website design. I guess it's a good plan in that respect, but a lot of dissertation research stuff is online. Hmm. I guess i'll just have to see how it goes. So yes. I'm dissapearing from next sunday for a week.

Also, my subscription is about to run out >_< Must renew it.

Due to time constraints I'm not really in a position to do intensive commission work. However, I'm happy to make Kat Hats!

hello there, i work in Camden at a shop called the ArtBox, I was there with my friend and we had our dolls with us.
One of your friends came into the shop and noticed our dolls and said that you make them, I'm unsure of your friends name but she mentioned that you were making her an SD sized doll, she also took photo's of us holding a lamb xD

Just thought I'd let you know that Midori is looking fantastic and i hope to see you make more sculpts in the future.

Hello! :D How nice of you to drop by, and thankyou for the lovely comments! Yes, my next doll will be bigger than Midori (He's tiny! his head is only 2cm tall..)

She'll be called Noor on Chippy's request (my friend you met) and hopefully i'll be able to get her started soon, i'm going to aim for a slightly bigger doll, although probably not full SD size. (resin is so expensive!) She'll have a big head proportionally though. I'm wanting to do some magnet action too, lots to experiment with!

Chippy is awesome, she was really excited to have met you! :D I'll have to come by Camden sometime soon and say hi. ^^

Ahh! He is really small! Well, I take my hat off to you for being able to put so much detail into something so small.

I wanted to start my own myself, but the dangers are too high to do resin casts in my house just yet.
I'd really hope for you and Chippy to come to the shop once you are finished with Noor.

Was also good to meet Chippy, she was very polite and i was happy (and shoked) that she asked for a photo! ^^

I do all my resin at uni after an unpleasant experience at home. They've just got a vacuum chamber too so i'll use it for my next cast!

We'll have to come by and show you when we've got something ^^
